After the Maternal Health Awareness Day blood drive on January 23, 2018, many people asked when I will be hosting another one. Then, two organizations inquired about future blood drives and it became clear that I needed something other than a past facebook event to refer people to. With much consideration and discussion with Alexis, founder of the Heroes for MomsNational Blood Drive Platform, I asked to start a New Jersey Branch to keep the momentum and enthusiasm going locally.
